Better watch your backs

Have your say

With recent references to Chairman Mao, I was consequently reminded of the story of the American journalist who was granted an interview with Mao, during which he asked the man how he divided his time.

The answer was that he spent 25 per cent of his time running the country and the rest of his time watching his back against his colleagues.

Perhaps given the toxic briefings and constant threats of coups being promised by the old New Labour parliamentary party members against the new Old Labour Corbynites despite them having won the leadership election fair and square with a large majority, the latter would do well to bear such an observation on the part of Chairman Mao in mind?
