The event, organised by the Sheffield branch of the Campaign For Real Ale, is held at Kelham Island Museum between October 19 and 22 and regularly attracts thousands of visitors. Funds raised will go towards the hospital, which is undergoing a £40m redevelopment to include a huge new play tower.

Festival organiser Louise Singleton said hospital staff do a “fantastic job.”
