A NEIGHBOUR raised the alarm after an arson attack at an unoccupied house in Cantley, Doncaster.

Fire crews were called to Bardolf Road around 11.30pm on Monday and forced entry because they were told someone might be inside.

But there was no-one there and a burning bed in the front bedroom was put out.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed the house was broken into and the fire was started deliberately.

“The occupant was not in and nobody has been injured.”
