Beautiful creations on show with a rainbow of colour

DAZZLING artwork will bring colour to a festival celebrating the creative skills of Sheffield people with learning disabilities.

Colours in a Rainbow is now in its third year and organisers hope to build on the successes of previous festivals.

It aims to show off the talents of people with learning disabilities and autism by screening their own films, exhibiting their artwork, and offering an opportunity to develop their talent through creative workshops.

Sessions on offer will include children's drama and arts as well as adult skills in animation and silk painting.

The week-long exhibition will run at The Showroom cinema from Monday to Friday next week and entry is free.

A collection of short films and animations made by people with learning disabilities, entitled It's a Wrap!, will be screened on Thursday at 1.30pm and 7pm.
