The gardens of a Balby nursery have been shortlisted for a top design award.

The sensory gardens at the Ofsted outstanding rated Warren Nursery, which is run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), have made it to the finals in the Commercial Landscaping Design category of the Northern Design Awards.

Nursery manager Sharon Gladwin said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted. We pride ourselves on providing a stimulating, happy place for children to play, grow and learn and encourage them to be curious about their world.

“Thanks to landscape architects reShaped our outdoor space allows our children to run, roll, climb, hide, play and relax in a safe environment where they can develop their imagination.”
