Baby boy still critical after South Yorkshire crash

The baby, now nine weeks old, was in a red Mini Cooper which was involved in a crash with a white Scania HGV on the A1 at Warmsworth, Doncaster, on Tuesday, August 16.

He was airlifted to hospital where he remains today.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the baby is in a critical condition.

A 56-year-old man driving the HGV and a 42-year-old woman driving the Mini were unharmed.
