an AUCTION raised cash towards special clothes for premature or poorly babies in hospital.
Laura Stothard organised the event, where a variety of prizes went under the hammer, to buy more Pop N Grow outfits.
The tiny clothes have special popper sleeves, stretch panels and mitten feet so drips can be inserted, and tests taken, more easily.
Mum-of-two Laura, of Sothall, became involved with the project after daughter Elsa was born prematurely at 30 weeks and handed over 20 babygrows to the Jessop Wing.
She said: “The auction went far better than hoped and raised nearly £1,500.”
Items in the auction included tickets to Disney on Ice at Sheffield Arena,
It was held on the Pop N Grow Jessop Wing Sheffield page on Facebook.
