Award for water works at Rivelin

Rivelin Water Treatment Works has won the Institution of Civil Engineers Yorkshire and Humber Centenary Award, given annually to the best project in the region.

Representatives of Yorkshire Water and contractors Mott MacDonald Bentley were presented with the award by President Professor Barry Clarke, at a gala dinner held at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate last night.

The project cost £7 million and was developed with input from Rivelin Valley Conservation Group.
