PLANS have been drawn up to replace a former auction room site in Carcroft and replace the building with flats and shops.
Members of Doncaster Council’s planning committee have agreed to make a site visit to the proposed location at the Tudor Sale Rooms on High Street.
The visit is expected to go ahead next month.
Under the proposals, a three-storey building would be erected, to include 12 flats located on the second and third floors.
There would be three lock-up shops and garages on the ground level.
If it gets the go-ahead, the scheme would involve demolishing the existing building.
