Aspiring actors got a taste of stardom when they performed in London’s West End.

Pupils at Stagecoach Theatre Arts Sheffield sang and danced at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, which is famous for hosting hit musical, The Phantom of the Opera, since 1986.

They were among 300 Stagecoach pupils from across the country who performed in an end of term showcase in front of a packed audience made up of family and friends.

Stagecoach Theatre Arts Sheffield Principal, Sheila Chapman, said: “It’s always a joy to see our pupils on stage, but giving them the opportunity to perform at London’s esteemed theatre district is a dream come true.

“Her Majesty’s Theatre has always welcomed youngsters who have a passion for musical theatre so we’re grateful our pupils can be a part of special performances like these. Well done to everyone for putting on another fantastic show.”

Stagecoach Theatre Arts Sheffield is part of a network of more than 600 part-time Theatre Arts Schools worldwide, catering for four to 18-year-olds.
