A LONG-running city art club is to hold an exhibition of its work at Sheffield Winter Garden.
Members of Heeley Art Club are staging their fifth exhibition with the theme Sheffield Out of the Frame.
The work of 27 artists will be on show and the exhibition will show up to two pieces from each artist.
Visitors will be able to buy the art with prices ranging from £40 to £800 and small prints and cards will also be on offer.
The club began at the end of the 19th century and currently has 40 members.
After a modest start in Thirwell Road Wesleyan School, the club quickly moved to Meersbrook Vestry Hall.
Over the years the club has had various locations, and at one time met in a room in North Church Street and paid local street sleepers a shilling a time for their services as models.
The free exhibition is supported by Heeley City Farm and takes place from Tuesday, July 12, to Saturday, July 23.
