An art exhibition is being held in Sheffield this week to support an artist’s church funds appeal.
A selection of contemporary art by Madeleina Kay is being showcased at Chapel Walk Gallery in the city centre, which opened on Saturday and will remain at the venue until Friday.
Displays will include a mixture of paintings, photographs and drawings ‘exploring the role of the individual within local communities’ and their ‘relationship with the physical world’
The exhibition will be all about the village of Derbyshire Edale, ‘celebrating the natural beauty of the Peak District and emphasising its significance to local communities.’.
Donations will also be made to the Edale church restoration fund for every sale made at the show.
