FOUR cars went up in flames during a spate of arson attacks in a Sheffield suburb.

The first blaze involved an Vauxhall Astra set alight on Shortbrook Croft, Westfield, at 3.47am on Saturday.

A Peugeot people carrier was found burning on Garland Way at 4.05am; another vehicle was set alight at 4.37am and a Vauxhall Corsa was found engulfed in flames on Westcroft Gardens at 4.41am.

A builder’s Ford Transit van and contents were wrecked when the parked vehicle was set on fire on Reney Avenue, Low Edges, Sheffield.
