This morning a Volkswagen Golf was set alight near to Hallamshire Tennis Club, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield and a car was torched in Cumwell Lane, Hellaby, Rotherham.

Last night firefighters in Sheffield dealt with wheelie bins set on fire in James Walton Drive, Halfway and Richmond Road, Richmond.

A 4x4 was also torched in Cowley Hill, Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham.

Over the weekend a Citroen Picasso was set alight in Abney Road, Gleadless Valley, Sheffield and Rotherham firefighters dealt with a car torched in Blackamoor Road, Swinton; rubbish set on fire in The Lane, East Dene; a Corsa set on fire in Orgreave Road, Catcliffe and a skip torched in Waddington Way, Aldwarke.

Three wheelie bins were fired in Clear View, Grimethorpe, Barnsley and Doncaster firefighters dealt with a tree and peat which went up in flames in an arson attack off Doncater Road, Askern and a shed found burning in Wadworth Street, Denaby Main.
