An arson attack caused the huge blaze on the site of the former Sheffield Ski Village.
Fire crews spent more than five hours tackling the flames at Parkwood Springs at 8.30pm on Wednesday.
They remained at the scene until 1.40am yesterday.
A wooden shed and two outbuildings were destroyed in the blaze – the latest in a series of arson attacks at the site over recent months.
The Ski Village was forced to close last April when fire ripped through the complex.
The owner announced it was unlikely to re-open again earlier this year because of problems finding insurance.
Watch Manager Dez Omar, from Central Station, said: “Police officers spotted the blaze initially and the fire took hold of the buildings very quickly. When we arrived on scene they were all well alight and we used three main jets to douse the flames.”
