The armed forces are to be honoured with a parade in Rotherham on Saturday.
The South Yorkshire Police Band will lead the parade, which sets off from Rotherham Town Hall at 11.25am.
Members of the Territorial Army, Cadets from the Air Training Corps, Army Cadets, Sea Cadets and Police Cadets will take part.
The parade will end at All Saints’ Square and a Spitfire fly past is planned.
Councillor Mahroof Hussain, Cabinet Member for Communities and Cohesion, said: “The Armed Forces Parade is always one of the highlights of the year.
“This year it holds extra significance as it’s the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, something what will add a poignant edge to the proceedings as we remember all those that gave their lives.”
