A MISSING cat who disappeared in Sheffield is being sought by her owners.
Ginger cat Ginny was originally rescued from Cyprus by a volunteer from Furry Friends rescue centre in Dore, who found her while on holiday there last year.
But Ginny went missing from her foster home in Millhouses at lunchtime on New Year’s Eve and has not been seen since.
The cat was brought to the UK after her mother was killed in a road accident in Cyprus when she was a kitten.
The Furry Friends volunteer put her in quarantine and later brought her over to England.
Jane Ward, of Furry Friends, said: “It’s unusual for her to go missing.”
