THE owner of a smallholding in Doncaster is taking a planning wrangle to a public inquiry later this year.
Eric Tetley has lodged an appeal against Doncaster Council for not giving a decision within eight weeks of his application for a certificate of lawful use for Acres Ranch, off Warning Tongue Lane, Cantley, for agriculture, leisure and domestic purposes.
Mr Tetley has been involved in a long-running dispute with the council over his use of the land between Cantley and Branton.
A Government inspector will attend Danum House in St Sepulchre Gate on March 6 to hold an informal hearing and decide the appeal.
Members of the public are allowed to attend the hearing, starting at 10am, and express their views on the application.
