BIN bosses have apologised to residents of a Sheffield street where waste collections were missed.
People living on Payler Close, Manor, are supposed to have black bins emptied every other Friday under new arrangements launched in August.
But resident Zac Sturch said his collection was missed on the first Friday of September and not emptied until the next day.
Last week collection happened on the Friday, but was later than usual.
Mr Sturch said: “I don’t think I’m the only one unhappy with the service on my street, as most of us on here are families of four or more.”
A spokeswoman for contractor, Veolia, said: “We are sorry for the inconvenience caused following the recent issue in Payler Close, Sheffield.
“We can confirm a collection crew attended the street immediately after we were advised of the residents’ concerns.”
