AN annual trek in memory of a baby who died will raise cash to help autistic people live independently.
The Louise Smalley walk in Whitwell, Worksop, will be held to remember the tot who died, aged 13 months, in 1993.
Little Louise died after being born with a heart defect.
She had been expected to live only days.
More than 100 people are expected to stride out over 40 miles during the walk on Saturday, June 23.
They hope to raise over £10,000 for the National Autistic Society. The walk, which raised £10,000 last year, starts from Monsal Head, near Bakewell at 4am and finishes in Whitwell.
