An animal-themed fun day for children is being held at Boston Castle, Rotherham, on Sunday, September 1.
Visitors will be able to hold exotic creatures, stroke cute and cuddly animals, and get a close look at mini beasts.
For those not feeling brave enough there will be other activities available, including biscuit decorating and face painting.
Coun Amy Rushforth, Cabinet Member for Culture and Tourism, said: “Rotherham has a long and proud history of offering great events which help to expand children’s minds.
“As well, I can’t think of a nicer setting for the day than the beautiful Boston Castle.”
Each activity will cost £1 per child.
The 18th century former hunting lodge is also available for hire.
