Thornberry Animal Sanctuary is appealing for donations to help keep its running costs to a minimum.
Items on the sanctuary's wish list include dog, cat, rabbit and ferret foods, kitten pouches, washing powders, blankets, towels, dog collars, leads, bowls and cat litter.
The sanctuary ask for donations to be made to their stall at the Killamarsh Festival at Killamarsh Sports Centre car park on Sunday, July 1, from noon until 4.30pm.
Donations can also be made directly to the sanctuary. Sue McNeela, chair of the trustees, said: “Thornberry does not receive any funding other than what is raised by ourselves through the tireless efforts of our volunteers plus many members of the public.”
