THE history of an ancient site in Sheffield is the subject of a special talk tomorrow night.
Wincobank Hill has been home to an Iron Age hill fort, cottages, mines and woodland over thousands of years.
The free talk at Upper Wincobank Chapel, on Wincobank Avenue, is being held to discuss the findings of a report about the hill, prepared by archaeological company ArcHeritage.
Sheffield Council commissioned the report to collect together all the known information about the site.
The event has been organised by The Friends of Wincobank Hill, and a raffle is taking place during the evening to raise funds for the group.
Admission is free and the talk starts at 7pm.
Refreshments will be served from 6.30pm.
