Ambulance announcement

AMBULANCE chiefs have put back an announcement about how they will improve response times in Derbyshire until March.

The East Midlands Ambulance Service ran a public consultation asking people how they thought services should be improved.

The organisation launched a project called Being the Best last year and asked for suggestions on how to improve the service.

The aim was to look again at the management structure, properties owned and leased by the service, its service delivery model and working practices.

Bosses said they need to look in more detail at estate management options so the report will go before the board on March 25 not January 28.
