Aldi is looking to recruit 11 South Yorkshire apprentices to support its stores as part of the Aldi apprenticeship Scheme.
Aldi will have more than 700 apprenticeship vacancies for stores across the UK as part of the scheme, which is encouraging job seekers with a passion for retail to apply.
Aldi store apprentices are trained in all aspects of Retail Management during their three year course, which features a mixture of in-store and theory work.
Colin Breslin, Regional Managing Director at Aldi, said: “The Aldi Apprenticeship Scheme has been hugely successful since it launched four years ago and we’re now looking for a record number of candidates to join our dynamic and fast-growing team in the UK.
“Aldi’s apprentices are given real responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to learn about the business from a grassroots level, and we expect our recruits to progress to a management position with us.”
Applications for the scheme should be submitted at www.aldirecruitment.co.uk/apprentice and successful candidates will be asked to attend an interview followed by an ‘Aldi experience’ at a local store.
