Charity Age UK is urging people to clear out their wardrobes and donate any clothes they no longer wear to one of its stores in Sheffield.
The charity’s Crookes shop is in need of any unwanted clothes, accessories, CD’s, DVD’s and household items to be re-sold.
Sandra Ward, shop manager, said: “We’ve waited a while for the sun to come out this year and now it’s time to sort out your summer look.
“When you’re sorting through last season’s clothes, please donate any unwanted items in preparation you have to Age UK.
“We are desperately in need of clothes, accessories and household items.
“All donations can make such a huge difference, because anything we cannot sell we recycle so nothing is wasted.”
Age UK, which works to support elderly people, can collect donations as well as take bags over the counter.
The charity can also arrange a house collection for larger donations from one of their stock collectors.
