PLANS for an ‘adult venue’ have been approved on condition customers who look under 25 are asked for identification.
Paradise Club is set to open on Effingham Street, Attercliffe, and has been granted a licence to play recorded music and show explicit films.
The venue is to be run by West Yorkshire-based businessman Adrian Pearson and will be open between 11am and 6am seven days a week.
Architects’ designs for the inside of the venue include a downstairs lounge and soft drinks bar, plus three bedrooms and a spa upstairs.
The proposals for the new club were approved subject to conditions at a meeting of Sheffield Council’s licensing board yesterday.
