TRAM commuters in Sheffield may have seen a man in one almighty rush.
That was Adham Fisher, not an ordinary passenger but a man on a mission to visit every city tram stop in the shortest time possible.
He managed it in one hour, 46 minutes and 53 seconds – beating his previous time but not the unofficial record.
The challenge launched Adham’s tour of urban rail systems with the next stop being across the Atlantic in New York.
Adham, aged 27, said: “There were some frustrating delays which meant it took me three attempts to start, the first one getting me to the tram stop four minutes late. But I will be giving it another go when I get the chance.”
Adham has unsuccessfully tried 11 times to break the Guinness World Record for visiting every station on the London Underground, informally known as the Tube Challenge.
He has also visited every station on the Paris, Madrid and Chicago equivalents.
