A COMMUNITY group in Sheffield has issued a plea for respect after a string of thefts and damage to property.
The Burncross Action Team, Sheffield, has been hit by theft, damage and graffiti in the past month.
Most recently, a flower bed created to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee was stolen.
Brenda Hind, team chairman, said: “Displays around Burncross are planted and maintained by local supporters, bought from sponsorship or donated by locals.
“We hope residents and visitors respect this.”
