June’s still left high and dry
WHAT were the odds of getting that right?
You probably wouldn’t put money on a Comet call centre worker diagnosing the problem with a broken washing machine over the phone.
So when a Comet repair man called at June Spotswood’s home with a part she wasn’t surprised it was the wrong one. She was also a bit cross.
For June, aged 75, of Gleadless, has been waiting since January 27 for a repair despite paying £150 for an extended warranty. It’s a good job her daughter can do her washing.
A Comet spokeswoman said another part was due to arrive on Monday.
