Well, Susan Kitchen did have a problem with her washing machine and she did call Sheffield Domestics at Manor Top.

But she claims they didn’t come out and ‘sort it’ as they said they would when she paid, despite it coming with a six-month guarantee.

Susan, of Halfway Gardens, Halfway, claims she reported a scrape and rattle just before Christmas. But no one rang back despite her calling at the shop.

Three months later the noise was so bad she stopped using it and bought another one. Susan said: “I’ve had to spend more money and I’ve still got a faulty machine to get rid of.”

ACTION

Simon of Sheffield Domestics collected the washer and gave Susan a full refund of £230 and flowers after an Action Desk call.He said: “She must have phoned when we were snowed under. If I had known I would have sorted it sooner.”
