Motorists are being warned of a temporary road closure in Rotherham as part of a major improvement scheme.
From Monday, November 12, Kiveton Lane will be closed for two weeks at its junction with the A57 at Todwick Crossroads to allow for both highway and utility works.
Signs will be in place advising motorists travelling to Todwick and beyond to take the earlier turn to Todwick from the A57 along Goose Carr Lane.
The road closure is part of a £14.7 million improvement scheme by Rotherham Council, that will see the A57 turned into a dual carriageway from the Todwick Crossroads to junction 31 of the M1 motorway.
The scheme, which aims to cut accidents, is due to be completed during early 2014.
