Technological dunces discovered a whole new world when they attended a Sheffield event aimed at getting them online.
Let’s Get Digital, in the Winter Garden, encouraged people to try out virtual reality headsets and trace their family tree on the web as well as managing their money online.
Sheffield Council organised the event with Heeley Development Trust during Get Online Week.
Coun Mazher Iqbal, cabinet member for communities and public health, said: “The internet can be so useful for so many things and it’s really important that people know about the support available to get them online.
“This event was a great opportunity for people to find out how much fun getting online can be, as well as how helpful the internet is.
“Volunteers were on hand to provide individual support and there were lots of stalls showcasing various online services.”
