Worker died after first day

A SHEFFIELD man killed in a car crash was on his way home after his first day in a new job, a devastated neighbour has revealed.
Chris Mountain, of Lowedges Crescent, Lowedges, died at the scene of the smash on Monday evening, when his red Rover 214 collided with a silver Volkswagen Golf on the A6135 at Barlborough Common, Barlborough.

One of Mr Mountain's neighbours Sue Ro
berts, who lived just across the street, said: "I had known him since his parents Joan and Percival moved here when he was nine years old.

"He was just a really nice gentleman."
