Woman hurt in house fire

A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a blaze at a South Yorkshire bungalow last night.
Fire ripped through the property in Whiphill Lane, Armthorpe, Doncaster, just after 10pm.

Firefighters arrived to find the house well alight. They used breathing apparatus and hose-reel jets to tackle the flames.

ered there were horses in smoke-damaged stables to the back of the house and their owner was alerted.

- Fire crews in Rotherham were called to a blaze in a porch at flats in Shearman Avenue, Kimberworth, at 11.28pm last night. No one was injured in the fire.

- Firefighters dealt with a kitchen fire in Totley, Sheffield, this morning which started after a pan was left unattended on a stove. The blaze was in West View just before 7am.
