TV NATURALIST Sir David Attenborough met fans and signed copies of his new book during a visit to South Yorkshire.
Sir David signed copies of Life in Cold Blood to coincide with the BBC1 series of the same name at WH Smith in Meadowhall, where fans of all ages queued to meet the wildlife expert.

His latest series explores the lives of reptiles and amphibians.

On his 80th birthday, in 2006, Sir David was on the Galapagos islands filming giant tortoises, including the famous Lonesome George who was around the same age.
