POP Idol finalist Sam Nixon has hit the right notes with needy kids – by helping to buy toys for them this Christmas.
The singing sensation has signed some of our Star VOTE SAM posters for The Star Christmas Cash Toy Appeal.
One of the posters raised more than £110 in a charity auction at an event we organised in Doncaster.
The money will help to buy brand new pre
sents for children and young people who are facing a bleak Christmas.
Social Services and other help groups will be actively involved in getting the right toys and gifts to those most in need, from babies and toddlers, to teenagers.
Sam, from Monk Bretton, Barnsley – now one of the last four in the Pop Idol TV show – is delighted to help.
We have two other VOTE SAM posters, personally signed, to raise more cash for our appeal.
Drop us a line saying how much you are prepared to bid and we will contact the two fans offering most money, who will each get a poster signed by Sam.
Please do not send cash.
Have your bids to us by next Monday, December 8.
Star readers who just want to make a donation can help by sending a cheque, made payable to Sheffield Newspapers Limited, a postal order or shop vouchers.
