CCTV images have been released of a number of men police want to trace following an attack on a bus in South Yorkshire.
The bus was travelling from Meadowhall in Sheffield to Rotherham when the attack took place on Ship Hill, near Rotherham interchange.

Police said six men set upon two others – aged 16 and 23 – before fleeing. The driver contacted the police and tried to keep the bus moving but the attackers jumped out of the emergency exit at the back.

The six suspects were black, aged between 17 and 20, and all were of medium build with short dark hair.

One of them was wearing a blue T-shirt, another had a black jacket with a distinctive coloured pattern on the back, and one wore cream tracksuit bottoms and a black top.

Anyone with information about the incident on Sunday August 9 at around 3.30pm should email margaret.richardson@southyorks.pnn.police.uk or call 01709 832 161.
