POLICE raided two properties at separate addresses in Sheffield today in a bid to locate drugs and weapons.
The routine search warrants were executed at a house in Burngreave and another in Gleadless this morning.

The raids were not linked to the recent murder of Tarek Chaiboub in Burngreave, police said today.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Today police officers executed two routine search warrants in

Burngreave and Gleadless in an effort to locate a firearm, drugs and other prohibited items.

"These warrants are not in connection to any other recent incident."
