FOUR people arrested in connection with the murder of Sheffield teenager Tarek Chaiboub have been released on police bail while officers today continued to question two others.
Three males and a female, all arrested on Thursday, were released in the early hours of this morning.

A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old man remain in custody where they are helping police with their inquiries.

A force spokesman said today : "Warrants for their further detention will be presented to Sheffield magistrates later this morning to enable our inquiries to continue."

The males were arrested in the Petre Street and the woman was detained in Sheffield Lane Top.

Among those arrested was a 13-year-old boy, police confirmed yesterday. Tarek, aged 17, was shot dead at around 1.45pm last Friday in Frenchie's barber shop on the corner of Spital Street in Burngreave.

His murder happened just 200 yards from the home of Jonathan Matondo - the 16-year-old shot dead in Burngreave last October.

Yesterday, a week on from Tarek's death, police put road blocks in place in Burngreave.

Officers stopped cars, boarded buses and spoke to taxi passengers and pedestrians in a bid to find new evidence.

Det Supt Neil Jessop said the investigation was "going well".

But he admitted fear was "only natural" following a fatal shooting in the community.

Officers are particularly keen to hear any information about three men wearing black who were seen fleeing the scene.
