THE funeral of a Sheffield paraglider who died following a crash at a Derbyshire beauty spot is to be held on Monday.
Ben Morris, aged 33, of Martin Street, Upperthorpe, was killed when he crashed at Bretton Edge, near Eyam, while out flying with the Derbyshire Soaring Club over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The funeral service will be held at St Barnabas Church, in
the village of Bradwell, Hope Valley, at 12 noon.

Ben's parents Hope and Angus, who live in Chinley, High Peak, have asked for family flowers only and will be collecting donations for the church's Fabric Fund.

Ben's equipment, including the wing and harness, have been taken to the Air Accidents Investigation Branch in Farnborough for analysis. The family has been told the investigation could take between nine and 12 months.

Read tributes to Ben and add your own message in our book of condolence.
