WHO should join Gordon Banks, Sean Bean, Jarvis Cocker, Derek Dooley and Sebastian Coe on Sheffield's Walk of Fame?
The council is asking Star readers to nominate the next Sheffield Legend and explain why they should be given the honour.

Those eligible for the awards must either have been born in Sheffield or have a very strong association with the city, and mu
st have achieved recognition at national or, preferably, international level.

Nominees will be required to write a short note - up to 50 words - explaining to a selection board why their choice is a deserving case.

Write to: The Lord Mayor, The Town Hall, Pinstone Street, Sheffield, S1 2HH - clearly marking your envelope 'Sheffield Legends' - or e-mail lordmayor@sheffield.gov.uk by Friday April 25.
