A MAN STABBED to death in Sheffield has been named.
Brett Blake, 23, died from multiple wounds inside the Uniq club in Sheffield yesterday.

Mr Blake, from the Longley area of the city, was pronounced dead at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital after being attacked at about 2.35am.

Two other men, both in their 20s, were also injured. One worked at the club and he was treated in hospital for a cut to the stomach and later released.

The second man underwent surgery for a cut to his hand and was detained in hospital.

South Yorkshire Police said a murder inquiry had been launched and appealed to witnesses who were in the nightclub in Carver Street to come forward.

"We are still trying to find out exactly what happened, the club was busy at the time and we're appealing for anyone with information to come forward," a Police spokesman said.
