LITTLE lamb Mitch may be the black sheep of the family – but these farm fans have certainly taken a shine to him.
The woolly jumper was born on the same day Sheffield law firm Irwin Mitchell announced Heeley City Farm as its nominated charity for the year – and the new arrival was named Mitch to mark the occasion.

Adrian Budgen from Irwin Mitchell said: "Having lived in the city for 18 years, I was aware of the good work done by Heeley City Farm but it wasn't until I visited I realised what an extraordinary and wonderful place it is."

The farm is home to rare New Zealand cuni-cuni pigs, soay sheep, prize-winning goats and Molly, the Irish moiled cow, but it is also an important centre for educational and environmental schemes.

Cash received from staff at Irwin Mitchell will help to fund activities including special needs projects, the teaching of basic skills, nutritional education, and health projects for the elderly and youngsters.

It will also help towards the farm's commitment to environmental projects such as combating fuel poverty, using renewable energy, and reducing energy waste.
