Man slumped at M1 bridge

A MAN who was found slumped underneath a motorway bridge remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The 32-year-old was found lying on the hard shoulder of the southbound carriageway of the M1, near Thurcroft, Rotherham, on Friday morning.

Emergency services were alerted after he was spotted close to the M18 slip road by passing motorists.

He was rushed to Rotherham District General Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.
