The 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon has just made its world premiere in Monterey, California , and is heading our way next year.
The new CTS Sport Wagon has a dynamic presence.

The first view of the car's intricately sculpted rear profile demonstrates Cadillac's commitment to cutting edge styling and its Art and Science design philosophy, successfully implemented on the CTS
luxury sport saloon, and the CTS Coupe Concept.

The right-hand drive 2010 CTS Sport Wagon is expected to arrive in Cadillac UK showrooms in the autumn of 2009.

Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager, said: "This is an important step in Cadillac's ongoing global expansion, and of course in international markets like Europe, wagons have been and continue to be very significant."

The striking profile hints at a performance-oriented character, with high aerodynamic efficiency. It rides on the same wheelbase as the CTS sport saloon and is 7mm shorter overall, yet offers a generous luggage capacity of 720 litres behind the rear seats.

There's a signature V-shaped tailgate motif and large, vertical taillamps. The power-opening tailgateis operated by the key fob or a button.

High-mounted rear brake light is integrated into a subtle roof spoiler, and there's an integrated roof load management system with cross bars for a seamless appearance

For the UK, the CTS Sport Wagon will include a fully integrated infotainment system with 40-gigabyte internal hard drive and pop-up navigation screen, and a hand-cut-and-sewn leather interior.

UK engine and transmission options are yet to be finalised.

US models will be available with 3.6-litre V6 engines, and an efficient 2.9-litre turbo-diesel engine is being developed for CTS models for European and Asian markets.

It is a compact, dual overhead cam, V6 engine from GM's family of diesels that delivers optimal fuel economy with reduced emissions and noise.

The engine is rated at 250 ps.

Rather than having abrupt roof bar stanchions, brackets and cross bars that protrude above the roof line, the CTS Sport Wagon's system blends with the roofline.

The central section of the roof panel angles downward inside the roof edges, allowing unobtrusive cross bars – and creating a subtle fin effect at the trailing edges of the rear.

n Cadillac gave a special sneak preview of the next-generation SRX Crossover, a 2010 model that will launch worldwide in mid-to-late 2009.

The all-new SRX, unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, in Monterey, California, will bring a more dynamic alternative to the luxury crossover segment.

The all-new SRX will debut at major global motorshows later this year, when complete details will be released.

The 2010 model will replace the current SRX Crossover, which launched in 2004 as a key component of Cadillac's global expansion.

This next-generation crossover is similar in styling to Cadillac's Provoq Concept that made its UK debut at the British International Motorshow in July 2008.

The all-new production model is being developed to achieve excellent driving dynamics and wet-weather traction, with an elegantly modern cabin designed to accommodate five passengers and ample luggage.
