A HOUSE fire in which a Chesterfield woman died may have started when one of her dogs knocked over a candle, an inquest heard.
North Derbyshire Deputy Coroner Nigel Anderson ruled the death of Stephanie Kimberley at her home in New Hall Road, Brampton, was accidental.

Neighbours were unable to reach the 31-year-old when fire broke out and she was trapped in her bedroom w
ith her two dogs.

Firefighters rescued Ms Kimberley and she was taken to hospital where she died.

A fire service investigation found the fire was likely to have been caused by one of the dogs knocking over a candle.
