Bosses at Silver Lodge Care Home in Chapeltown are appealing for donations of old-fashioned items which might help elderly residents with dementia reconnect with the past.

The home wants donated items to be in good condition and to hold some sort of nostalgic value. The articles can be delivered in person to the Silver Lodge Care Home.
