GREEN issues and climate change were top of the agenda when the heir to the throne got together with three Yorkshire MEPs for a private meeting.
Prince Charles met up with Conservative Yorkshire and Humber MEPs Edward McMillan-Scott, Liberal Democrat Diana Wallis and Labour's spokeswoman on climate change Linda McAvan.
The four met for talks before Charles addressed the European Parliament in Brussels on Valentine's Day about climate change.
Mr McMillan-Scott and Ms Wallis shared a private dinner with Prince Charles the night before. Ms Wallis said: "Coming on the back of the European Commission's recent published proposals on how to reach the target of cutting 20 per cent of greenhouse gases by 2020, Prince Charles' speech in the European Parliament is very timely."
