IT'S not only the girl in the Arctic Monkeys' song who's looking good on the dance floor in Sheffield...
Some of the city's more senior residents can now take a twirl at St George's Court sheltered housing scheme, Netherthorpe.

But the sort of moves being made on the newly-installed dancefloor are more likely to be Strictly Come Dancing-style than boogying to the 1980s electro-pop referred to in the hit song by the band from High Green.

Manager Rhian Owen said: "Our tenants are thrilled with their new dance floor and I'm sure they could show those Strictly Come Dancing TV contestants a thing or two about performing a stylish foxtrot."

The new dance floor was opened by pupils from Eckington Secondary School, who performed a routine for residents.

People living at the centre were given funding by housing management company Sheffield Homes and it was fitted for free by Sheffield Council city stewardship team.
